Text Box: General Information
    Summer Art Courses 2017
WHEN: Our summer schedule is separate from ourregular September through May schedule.

DEPOSIT: A $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required for registration for each course. The remainder of each course fee is due at the first class.

COST: There are two prices listed for each course. New students, or those in their first 24 months of lessons at the Imagery, pay the higher price; students at the Imagery 25 months or more pay the lower price.

SUPPLIES: Students must provide all of their own art supplies. Artists’ supplies are available at Sue Hand's Imagery at a 20% discount for enrolled students. Thank you for supporting small locally owned retailers!

SUMMER STUDIO SOCIETY: for students (grade 7 and older) who are registered for 4 or more classes; includes a SSS t-shirt and a one-evening art exhibit on Monday, August 21. Please use the separate registration form for Summer Studio Society.

RATED “G”: We are a family-oriented art studio. All subject matter must be rated “G.” “G” is GOOD!

MISSED CLASSES: Have to miss a class? Make-ups are available in other classes by appointment. All summer
session make-ups must be completed by August 17.

CHILDREN: We are not staffed for childcare. Unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, all children should arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to class time. Children should be met by a parent/guardian immediately at the end of class. In case of an emergency situation, which would prevent you from picking up your child promptly, PLEASE CALL! ALSO, no student under age 10 may take two consecutive classes (2 hours back-to-back) unless they have been an Imagery art student for at least 18 months.

FALL SCHEDULE: Summer students who wish to continue in our regular session classes beginning in September should notify us as soon as possible. Each May, Imagery students have the option of pre-registration for the following September and space is limited, but we do our best to place summer students who wish to continue in the autumn classes. If we would happen to not have an opening, 2017 summer students will be moved to the head of the waiting list and will be offered the first available openings.

			Summer Studio Society 2017

The Summer Studio Society at Sue Hand’s Imagery is available to students ages 12 and up who wish to take multiple classes (minimum of 4; see next paragraph) during the summer. Participants will also receive a free Summer Studio Society t-shirt which is designed by each of the summer participants.

Students who pay for a minimum of 4 courses (workshops and main session) are eligible to receive 1 free course of equal/lesser value; students who pay for 5 courses (workshops and main session) are eligible to receive 2 free courses of equal/lesser value; students who pay for 6 courses (workshops and main session) areeligible to receive 3 free courses of equal/lesser value.

Summer Studio Society students will participate in a one-evening art exhibit on Monday, August 21 to display their finished (and unfinished!) art work from the summer classes.
